WHAT WE DID
The overall objective of the envisaged Water and Sewerage Programme in Medium-Sized Municipalities in Serbia is to ensure a sustainable supply of drinking water and in special cases improvement of wastewater management for the population in selected Municipalities at socially acceptable costs. Currently, the project involves technical assistance to 8 municipal PUCs for water and sewerage: Aranđelovac, Kikinda, Knjaževac, Stara Pazova, Paraćin, Prokuplje, Valjevo and Vrbas.
DCG worked to establish an effective and efficient management system (MIS) as a tool to improve the PUCs capacity, accountability, transparency and data management capacities. The MIS was developed as a response to the public utility companies’ need to bring all data on financial, commercial and technical operations together and allow them to manage the company's resources in a systematic and comprehensive manner.
