WHAT WE DID
Reforms introduced to the Macedonian educational system under the Municipal Management of Macedonian Schools Program were beginning to give previously unknown control over certain aspects of local public education to Macedonian local governments. However, local governments lacked experience and guidance how to manage their local schools and were uncertain how their activities corresponded with ongoing national government general oversight over local education.
